Dr. Titus Gebel

Titus Gebel is an entrepreneur with a PhD in international law and an extensive worldwide network. Amongst others, he co-founded Frankfurt-listed Deutsche Rohstoff, where he served as CEO for 8 years, and the Canadian nuclear startup Dual Fluid Energy.

Today, Dr. Gebel is founder and CEO of Tipolis, Singapore, a company which creates new models of urban living through innovation in governance. He published the book “Free Private Cities: Making Governments Compete for You”, where he lays out a framework for establishing autonomous, privately operated jurisdictions.

Dr. Gebel played an important role in the establishment of the most ambitious special zone to date, Próspera in Honduras. He also advised other countries in Special Economic Zones innovation and is the President of the Free Cities Foundation which works to enable and promote free cities around the world.
