Sondre Bjellås

Sondre founded The Free City of Liberstad together with John Holmesland in 2015 and is dedicated to helping free cities collaborate together; and is developing software to help free city projects be successful. Their project is based on the principles of voluntaryism, private property rights, and Austrian economics, and it aims to establish a free private city in Norway. Sondre has an extensive background as a software developer, having worked on various open-source blockchain and decentralized software projects. The citizens of Liberstad actively use the software he has created, and it is available for use by other Free City projects. During his talk, Sondre will share details of progress made in Liberstad, provide insights into the daily lives of its residents, and outline future plans for the project.
