About this speaker
Born in Ecuador, Andrea graduated as a Doctor in General Medicine and Surgery, and then specialized as a Pediatrician at Universidad Católica Santiago de Guayaquil. She worked in the ER of a children's hospital in Guayaquil for many years before moving into private practice. Andrea has also contributed as a speaker and translator at medical congresses. She also holds a Master’s in Administration of Health Centers from the University of Barcelona.
She participated in medical missions in Ecuador and Nicaragua, where she met her husband, Patrick Hiebert. As the Director of the Help Them Help Themselves Foundation, she organized logistics for medical, dental, and educational missions, coordinated with international volunteers, and ensured support for schools in poor villages.
After COVID-19, she began working with her husband in sustainable design and development as a property expert. Andrea now helps people seeking better living options, focusing on EcoVillages in Latin America that offer sustainable solutions for water, food, power, and a better lifestyle.
